Lions at Large Trail
The trail will run until Sunday 14th September and includes 32 Lions. I was sponsored by The Gloucestershire Fostering Service, and created "The Kintsugi Lion" Golden cracks flow through delicate blue-and-white florals, echoing the Japanese art of kintsugi – where breakage is not hidden, but honoured. Inspired by my own personal journey through cancer, this lion transforms its scars into strength. Each line of gold is a quiet testament to resilience, healing, and the beauty of becoming whole again.
The large Lions will be auctioned to raise funds for proposed new cancer care facilities in Cheltenham with digital consulting rooms, space for state-of-the-art research, as well as a therapeutic outside space.
